Leitrim could struggle hard in Div 3. Moran might be smart to stick his CV into Fermanagh or Kildare if it comes available and hope his playing profile cuts him a bit of slack.

Thighs on the Down players like sequoia trees. They must have Arnie in for the S&C. Whether the extra weight in muscle will hinder them going down the stretch will be what I’ll be looking for.
Not the same Leitrim team that was in Portlaoise but then that team were win or bust and Laois were running slow. Laois were a different animal today, especially in the full back line where Kelly makes a huge difference.
But Leitrim were poor truth be told and Laois could have had much more even. Evan did wreck, he’s a beautifully balanced footballer. Lovely to see him cut loose. Saying that not much to get excited about, two average sides but Shur that’s where we are. Delighted for Timmons, he didn’t deserve to bow out of Croker on that Down game last year, he’s some servant.
Most heartening thing was the change in personnel and attitude from last year. 5 of the 6 backs changed, new energy through the field and a gent on the line.
Looking forward to a crack off Offaly, not looking forward to the reward for winning said crack.
