An Idiots guide to downloading TV Programs/Movies from the Internet

Anyone got an invite going for irishtorrents.com?

My old login wouldn’t work. Site went down a while ago and I hadn’t been on since.

Thanks for the try WTB. Finally hoping to see what all the fuss about Love/Hate is all about.

Same as me. I’ve requested a change of password but wouldn’t be too hopeful. They’re grammar on the front page is awful.

Ishount is no more, founder had to shut it down over some piracy settlement. I used to download a good bit of stuff off there, it was the only downloading site I used to be honest. I don’t even know of any other decent free ones.

Any torrents or streams of Alpha Papa kicking about yet?

Don’t think so. Was looking for it the other day.

@Rudi - I’m sure you’ve noticed but this is available now.

Enjoy. It’s a quality film.

I’m not sure whether I mentioned it before, but I’d recommend HOLA as a program for streaming geo-blocked tv streams i.e. sporting events. I used it quite a bit in the UK over the summer for GAA games where often there isn’t a stream link via wiziwig etc.

Anyone have any decent sites I can download a few episodes of a few programmes at a time to a Tablet? No torrents or anything like that, just raw .mov files or whatever they are. Streaming not an option.

But you’ll still need to setup a peer to peer software on your Tablet such as Emule that interfaces with this site.
None of the messing involved with torrents.

Whats involved with torrents on a tablet then? Bear in mind I know absolutely nothing about this kind of stuff.

Try this

Two GBytes free. They realy pushed out the boat!

Sorry, I did a quick search. Emule won’t work on a tablet as other torents likewise. Best download using a pc and transfer using USB.

It enables you to stream from your PC stuff that you’ve downloaded from torrents onto your tablet or phone. You can cast videos to your TV as well I think. Worth a try anyway.

Is iptorrents still active? Eh, it’d be great if Rudi, or someone else, who may be a member could send a PM
