Andorra v Ireland Ireland v Armenia

Go for broke too with a Slovakia win.

Paul McShane has been called up.

I anticipate a rare ol’ night in the 51 on Tuesday week

Fuck I forgot this was on. I am finding it hard to get excited about Ireland matches since Trap came in. Anyway what are the chances that the FAI will fuck up the ticket allocation again and I will end up in the Premium level?

I too shall be hoping for a Slovakia win.

I’m looking forward to this game. Disappointing that Kilbane is out, which means Ward will inevitably start, but that’s more than compensated for by the prospect of meeting Thrawneen in the 51 again.

Chewing the fat with you Rocko is what these nights are all about, in fairness. I fancy us to get the result though.

Assuming Ireland win Friday night I may invest in the season ticket for the rest of the year. You get one for Tuesday, one for the qualifiers if they get there and two friendlys. 3 friendlys if they fail to get to the qualifiers or go straight through. Less than €125 for the lot I’m lead to believe. Haven’t looked into to it though.
The question is would there be enough demand for a qualifier for me to be arsed? Because two friendlys are very unappealing. Unless we qualify I suppose in which case they could be interesting enough.

Buy it you tight pessimistic bastard and get behind the team.

 I’m TFK’s foremost Irish soccer fan having attending most of Irelands games in the last two years. I even took in a Carling Nations Cup match for my sins.

In short you do not get to lecture me on my support of the National Soccer team. I’m merely trying to get the best value for my money I can. €125 is a lot of Cola bottles if its for one match and three meaningless friendlys which I’d probably pick up free tickets for.

I’m fairly certain that buying tickets for next Tuesday entitles you to tickets for the Qualifiers. I’m even more certain that this is the case if you buy directly from the FAI - not sure if you go through Ticketmaster.

Cheers Rock, I’ll look into that

I’m only joshing Julio. Buying a ticket for Armenia guarantees you a ticket for a play off if we get there, certainly if you buy one off the FAI anyhow.

I’m not looking past Andorra for the moment. In fact I might go mental on Friday night after the game and stay up all night drinking strawberry daquiris before going back to the 51 for the rugby football, as it is opening at 6am on Saturday morning.

I was supposed to head home this weekend but I might postpone it till the saturday and go on the piss Friday night.

I was hoping you were Thraw, maybe I’ll pop along to the 51 on Tuesday

Do that. It’d be great to have a fellow Limerick man there, particularly as we’ll hopefully be still celebrating a Cymru win at the weekend.

Just bought my tickets. Another advantage of going through FAI.ie is that there is no booking fee. In your face you fucking robbing Ticketmaster cunts. On the flipside, I now know I will be in the Upper East Stand but no idea what part.

I was saying that to Larry earlier - I bought on FAI and was glad of the no booking fee but a bit surprised when I got to the end of the process with no idea where I’d be sitting and not a hint of a confirmation mail off them either. Tickets did come in the post on Friday though.

Strange then that you charged a booking fee when selling on the tickets!

What time are we kicking off in the 51 ??

I was on my lonesome for an hour in there pre Slovakia game before Croppy showed up with a couple of Slovaks in tow.

On Tuesday I’ll be there from 3:30 at the latest.
