It’s decent but for one reason or another I haven’t listened to it half as much as the others. Dead Roots Stirring is actually probably my favourite of the lot, much rawer.
Killing Joke knew all along.
Thomas Malthus, Eugenics are alive and kicking
Nutrients and vitamins extract from edible goods
Legislate, sick populations, a higher rate of mortality
Food code, as it’s known, Codex AlimentariusThin the herd
The great cull is coming down
Develop virus, market cure - exploit the panic
Contaminate by guile and stealth - a quick strum of the harp
Depopulate, initiate pharmaceutical companies
All fall down, all fall down, Codex Alimentarius
What an album.
All Them Witches are savage. They played the 3Arena supporting Ghost there last year, was half considering it, but I have no interest in Ghost whatsover.
I’m going to listen to more of them. Good to hear they’re not a one hit wonder.
They’re one of these few bands that have gotten better and better with each album since I first heard them. Funeral For A Great Drunken Bird is a great track off their second album, the one that first got my attention. Sleeping Through The War & ATW are both great albums imo.
It’s more mature. How’s that?! Smashing band and the physical albums are worth the few quid.
I’ve been listening to Fear Factory again since this lock-down kicked off. Police State seems a suitable pick…
The eldest lad is listening to Wormwood, and has recommended this track:
This fella has played in Dublin a good few times in the last couple of years. An odd looking chap. Daycent choons though.
Playing Dolan’s in August… hopefully anyway
Possibly this lineup at their peak. I suppose it was as this lineup didn’t last too long after this I think.
Saying that, the new/latest line up have a decent enough auld gig from France a few years back as well.
But this is fucking unrale. Would love to fire a few influencer hipsters into the middle of this crowd… Would be more on the likes of Limerick to fire this up loud in the dressing room before a big game…
I saw them in Dolans a few years ago, were you there? Really mellow lads
