Another Attack on Rural Ireland

Please God it doesn’t go to a replay or @Rocko will have to start sub-letting server space.

A sad read.
He’ll make a fine Politician though which is encouraging.

Decentralisation should be a major topic tbf. Bar farming and Construction of Wind Farms etc there is sweet fuck all going on down there.

Sad to say it but they’d be better off getting the Ferry to Clare. :fearful:

Big time. There’s a chance to decentralise a lot of jobs now and take them out of that hellhole called Dublin. But will companies want staff to go back on site after the pandemic passes or will they embrace the change…

I suppose it was better than paying for the care for his mother

Very messy case. Local sentiment would be that he was hard done by, but he didn’t do much to help himself either. His solicitor has played a blinder there.

Muldoons not wanting to live in rural Ireland is another example of dubs attacking rural Ireland

Study reveals almost 20% of houses in Clare are empty (irishexaminer.com)

If all the Dubs would fuck off back to Dublin from Meath, Cavan, Louth, Wicklow and Offally there might places for country people to go

How would you sort that out buddy?

Get Dublin people to pay for muldoons to live in Clare of course - the same as how all problems with rural Ireland are fixed, ask the city slickers to subsidize them

Ahh I thought you might have something constructive to say. Cheers
