In my experience the wife quite often knows fuck all about these things. Pride is a desperate thing.

Dont disagree with that at all. No sympathy but some empathy. They are acting the maggit reneging on what appears to have been a fair deal on offer by the lender.

I doubt they were short of a job in the past decade? Surely they both didnât lose their earning power completely in the past 9 years?
People made sacrifices to make some attempt to rectify their debt⌠husbandâs went to Dubai/Canada/Oz, family holidays were postponed etc.
Theyâll get fuck all sympathy from me except perhaps they got some poor advice.
