First off, we all know it’s a tragedy and nothing said here detracts from it. Everyone on the forum will feel for the families involved.
I found it mildly amusing that @Bandage chimed in with a two word 'awful tragedy ’ …it was like a token effort lads feel compelled to throw in. I wasn’t mocking the tragedy, more so the sheep like behaviour that we all fall into, including myself . My reply was meek and a bit tongue n cheek.
But who would have guessed captain type A personality would blow up about it… I tell you what you can do you absolute drip of a man. You can take my e-cock and put it in your mouth and suck on it, you boring, robotic, painful little bitch.
The vast majority of this forum got behind you when you lost a mate from work, and a fellow forum user, a few years back as you asked lads to take a break from trying to score points and make wise cracks at the time.
I wonder could mica have played a role here, weakening the structure. I can’t remember any deaths from gas explosions in Ireland in my lifetime, which makes this even more tragic. RIP to the poor divils.
I’m no engineer but from my knowledge of the Killarney event gas is powerful and frightening, if Mica was an issue all that building would be dust.
Thoughts and prayers with everyone involved.
Edit: @Ambrose_McNulty 2nd thoughts on reading your post again, a weakened structure could have caused a leak.
In relation to the spat between @Thomas_Brady@Bandage and @croppy_boy, when i was scrolling through the posts and came across Bandage’s “Desperate tragedy” post, i muttered “No shit, sherlock” to myself.
One for a possible future “Stating the bleeding obvious” thread.
I hope the 3 protagonists can let sleeping dogs lie now.
