The new version will also have an LTE model, something I felt was really lacking in the Pro version.
I see Narvey Horman have knocked 10% or so off the Surface Pro 3 in the past few weeks…
1200 euro for the i5 - 256 GB option and you dont even get a keyboard at that.
So the LTE model is likely to cost another 100 dollars plus you’ll need a separate data plan as well. Your smart phone can surely be used to fill the gap until you get to a wifi area?

If you are aiming at the corporate market then they don’t give a fuck about the extra a tenner a month for data, plus I’ve found a few of the ones I deal with find it “too awkward” to be switching between tethering, wifi etc. Including LTE, similar to apple products, isn’t aimed at tech savy people.
So I wet with a Lenova Yoga 3 in the end. Just got it today…
Doing exactly what I need to far.
The new surface pro 4 looks good, but more impressive is the phone dock which microsoft launched today which allows you to turn a phone running Windows 10, into a pc which can connect to a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
People still use Windows phones?
Why?
Windows 10 changes everything mate.
The Achilles heel of Windows phone up to now was the lack of apps. Now that apps will work across all windows platforms there is a serious incentive for developers to start churning them out. The plan is to have windows 10 on a billion devices within two years (it’s already on over 100m devices).
Sod the surface 4, surface book looks mighty
Surface has one major flaw.
Go on…
It’s not an iPad.
I’d consider that more a plus than a negative
Ok.
On another note, since I got my iPhone 6 (not the plus) last December, I have rarely used my iPad.
Right now, I would recommend a consumer to purchase the iPhone6 rather than the iPad.
Ios10 has been a disaster on my iPad. Bugs all over the place. Can’t take screenshots. I love taking screenshots. Mail very buggy, tfk buggy. Videos won’t load from RTE. Pile of shite.
How old’s the ipad?
2 - 3 years.
Do you know what version of ipad it is? As in ipad2 or whatever
iPad 2
IOS10 isn’t compatable with ipad2, so there’s your problem mate.
Those updates are designed to cripple older devices and in particular the iPad (because it’s a device you are less likely to replace regularly)
