I hate wrapping presents more than I hate anything on this planet.

The key here is applying sellotape early and often. Once you have the basic wrap done you can mush all the odds and ends down and liberally apply tape to hold it all in place. Don’t even try to make it look neat, the wrapping is only there to be ripped off.
