Argentina Backers Sign In

“When Diego scored that second goal against us, I felt like applauding," said former England forward Gary Lineker “I’d never felt like that before, but it’s true… and not just because it was such an important game. It was impossible to score such a beautiful goal. He’s the greatest player of all time, by a long way. A genuine phenomenon.”

“Diego apologised to me after he scored the second goal against England," said Argentinian teammate Jorge Valdano. “He could see me unmarked at the far post the whole way but he couldn’t find a gap to get the ball to me.”

"The fact is I felt offended. It was an insult to my profession. I mean, even on a run like that he still has the time to look up and see me. As a player I was nothing compared to him. He was incredible.”

How many Argentine players won in 78 & 86 ?

Passarella anyway.

Just watched brief highlights of the 1986 final there. Yer man Felix Magath started ahead of Rudi Voller. Matheus still played another 14 years for Germany after that game. 1980-2000 is a crazy length of an international career. For some strange reason it feels like a much larger gulf in time than CR7’s Portugal career of 2003- present.

I love France. I love French people, cuisine, culture, wine and especially women

No French person has ever been rude to me.

Signing in as an Argentina backer. As I have been for 36 years.
For Diego.

Exactly that, spent my Septembers in the early to mid 80s traipsing around the place picking grapes, drinking wine, smoking weed and other character building pursuits. I love Paris. But this is the Beautiful Game

It’s ok to beat the pulp of a woman If you can dribble really good is that it?

So if your daughter gets a hammering off a lad you don’t mind if he’s really good at soccer ?

That’s some moral compass you have.

you might want to direct your question to @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy who posted it pal. Or David Baddiel who tweeted it.

Justice will be served on Sunday but let’s just hope the Argentina players don’t invoke the spirit of Diego and batter the fuck of any woman after they get thorn to shreds on Sunday.

This, this is Diego. What a beautiful man

Was anyone battered to a pulp? The lady in question posts about Maradona with affection nearly every day. Recalling how great he was to her and how humble he was as a man.

He threw a phone at her.

Lovely pair of diddies on her.
