Quite a frustrating performance, we could have this game wrapped up already if we were effiecient in the final third. The front three look very unbalanced - I’d like to see Lopez on for Osvaldo at HT.
1-0 at HT. It’s been too easy for us as our work rate has dropped off, we aren’t pressing the ball as hard as we should and our passing at key moments has been awful. Pescara have not threatened us at all in the first half, we still need to finish this off early in the second half.
Castan and Marcos have cruised through the game, Bradley has been very disciplined in midfield while Destro has done very well, everyone else has been underpar though.

Perrotta replaces a hobbling Destro, the young man was terrific today and ran his socks off as he had to do the work of two men given Osvaldo just didn’t want to know about the game today. Hope he’s available for next week.
We have had two excellent opportunities to kill the game off there, Pjanic playing a poor pass when we had a four on two position and Marquinho slipping when he just had to pull it back for Osvaldo.
Piris just had to play Totti in there and he went for Marquinho and the pass was intercepted, FFS. :shakefist:
