Hello @thedancingbaby?
Is it fair to say England have a good chance of winning this test now?
Fastest five wicket haul in Test history for Stuart Broad. BBC SPOTY?
Broad has been exceptional but again, it cannot be emphasised how awful Australia’s batting is.
36 is Australia’s lowest innings total in Ashes (and test) and test history at the SCG in 1902. On 31/6 they might avoid that ignomony.
7 down!
Finn bowls Nevill.
There has never been a Test match decided inside 100 overs. This is the one. 10.2 overs gone. 33/7.
It’s staggering that Mitchell Johnson has not opened the batting for Australia in this series.
8 down. Australia’s top batsman Johnson removed by Super Stuey.
46/8. Starc departs as Broad picks up a 6th.
This excitement is all too much and I’m getting my Mitchells mixed up.
Mitch still there mate. With his 13 runs he’s moved past leg byes of 11 as Australia’s top run scorer this morning.
47/9.
Ahem. No he’s not.
9 down.
On 5 live a few weeks back someone was asking if England should reverse the batting order when they had to bat in the second innings at Lords. The logic being that the bowlers batting might take a bit of a shine off the new ball and make it easier for the established batsmen.
Extras is actually Australia’s top batsman. They should pick him more often.
50 up
All out for 60 as Broad picks up his 8th wicket.
10 down.
Like the Israeli athletes at Munich, they’re all gone.
60 runs. Broad 8/15 from 9.3 overs.
I’ve had longer shites than that innings.
