A lot of wonderful old buildings seem to have survived the second world war.
I thought Poland was blown to smithereens…
Part of Warsaw was rebuilt with the bricks from the rest of the country. Mainly the old town / new town area. Or you’d see particular churches or palaces rebuilt here and there around town. But it’s all new skyscrapers now.
