Lovely stuff… had it years ago when over. One of the girls from work brought it back
Nearly every restaurant in the city has it on the menu.
Extremely.
Is it racist not to take in refugees on the grounds that there are more than enough poor people in Poland who need housing / food / education ?
Is it racist to not want Muslims in your country and to build mosques for them when Muslims wont build Christian churches in their countries and keep Christians who live in these countries locked away in compounds?
That’s a very radicalised line of questioning for Tuesday morning but i’m going to say no to all!
The Government has switched away from demonising migrants and is now focusing the angry mob on LGBT issues. There is a nasty right wing core but I wouldn’t say the average Pole is more or less racist than anyone else.
Is Poland a shithole? Genuine question
You’ve never been?
@balbec Heading to gdansk at the end of September for 3 nights with a few of the lads, flight was €56 return compliments of Ryanair. I hear it’s the kinsale of Poland
Gdansk is a lovely spot. Very cheap. Head out to see Westerplatte where the first shots of World War Two (2) were fired*
*in Europe
No, I have not
Krakow is a great tourist city … highly recommend it. Wroclaw is lovely too but maybe not as many attractions – never made it north.
Not at all. Big cities are like Germany. Huge development here over the years. Small towns don’t have a lot going for them. Think Tipp Town with better looking women.
Not quite. Less cunts and weirdos in Gdansk.
Poland is at the top of my to do list in the future as regards somewhere foreign to see. We almost went this year but I’ll try next year. I’d like to see Krakow particularly and maybe Warsaw, and to drink some of their cheap beer and eat Osczypek.
I would highly recommend an overnight stay in Torun.
Yeah it’s a good town. Bit more off the beaten track tourist wise but well worth it.
I would not recommend Warsaw
Depends what you’re looking for and if you know where to go. More of a big city (2 million people) but interesting nonetheless. The historic parts are all walkable.
