Yea, I’d be a bit of an anorak when it comes to kits and I’d be convinced we didnt wear that in competitive action. I’ve never seen it before in my life, be shocked if even a training kit like that from that era got by me.

I was pretty sure I had seen it before but yeah we definitely never wore it in a competitive match. It doesn’t look like a training kit. If it’s a prototype it might be worth a few bob some day…

Don’t recall ever seeing that before. Think you’re right on the vintage though - the Umbro logo without any text underneath is relatively new anyway and then the FAI logo changed a while back so not a huge overlap. I’m not sure it’s not fake though.

Someone on ybig.ie said it was a training shirt. Doesn’t look like any training shirt we usually have but sure that’s all I have to go on. I got it in the post yesterday anyway. It’s pretty cool. I’ll sell it on in 20 years as a rare “3rd” jersey or something.
