I was reading about it last night. Apparenty they took the blue from their first ever kit in the 1800’s and the design is to match their tracksuits in the 80’s.
I don’t think a blue L’pool jersey will be much of a seller.

that reminds me of when i used to knock over to dancing babys to play fifa 2010. he would spend ageas picking his team & them just when the game was about to kick off he would pause the game & head upsatirs- 5 mins later he would come down decked out in the full kit of the team he had picked-(always choose celtixc,barca,ireland or milan) the headcase even rubbed vicks on the front of jersey to make it more authentic
