Would you expect many medals from that group?
2-3 serious medal prospects. Rhasidat and Phil Healy in the 400m, Ciara Mageean in the 1500 and Mark English in the 800m. Brendan Boyce has an outside chance in the walk if he’s back to 100% as well. The ladies 4x400m looks the strongest we’ve ever entered as well.

Are the Europeans now run like an Olympics with loads of events all together? I saw mention of rowers yesterday and I see some cycling on RTE2 now?
I read somewhere there are something like 11 disciplines, athletics being one.

It was an act of sporting vandalism by Mr Mullins in my book.

She ran her own race rather than just tracking Muir. Oozing confidence. She’s in the form of her life. Am sure Muir had had a race too many but a win is still a win
