Ewan is gone full Gemma sadly, he wasn’t too bad at the start but he is gone further and further down the rabbit hole as time goes on

He obviously saw a path to relevance during Covid, picked up thousands of ultra contrarian followers and now needs to keep them happy, he’s tipped way over the edge.
He’s really nasty, the ultimate one armed waiter

He needs a good kicking

What would violence achieve?

Same ol lads still talking about ewan. Gas cubes

Look at your avatar mate :joy:

Kimmage having a cut at athletics coverage on RTE in the S Indo

Bizarre stuff. Telling an athlete we’ll be rooting for them is a sin in his eyes.

Another lad who took such a strong stance on something that he has to be seen to be going against the grain on all things

I tend to agree. I think Ewan has lost his grip on reality, and it’s actually sad to see and uncomfortable. I wager all I have that she’s clean, and I’m suspicious of nearly everyone.
Same for Muir. Just two brilliant runners and nice people battling it out.

Ciara Mageean out again in the Diamond League final this evening in Zurich. Her race is at 6:59pm. Live on BBC2 and the YouTube link below. A big ask for her against a better field and less than a week after a huge run. Hopefully she goes out and attacks again and shows that last week was no fluke. Doubtful it’ll be enough to win but she won’t be lacking in confidence anyway

Great 2nd for her in a slower run race. Muir looks like someone who needs a rest now after a long season while Ciara looks fresh

This is the lad who won the National Half Marathon today. 5 mins of a gap back to 2nd. Proper international standard. Great to see another brilliant story of club bringing someone out of Direct Provision and welcoming them in. Not often someone thinks of Monaghan as paradise either!

Was this actually broadcast live by BBC2 at 6:59pm on Thursday? I’d love to know for posterity.

My cousins hairdressers brother who works in a post office said he sent teabags home to Ethiopia. He should be fucked back there.

Negative. They cut to Queen BBC1 coverage about 6.30pm or so. I watched it on the YT channel which is unavailable in the UK ironically as BBC own the rights there

Athletics fans are dispensable.

I ‘raced’ against him myself in the Dundalk 10km a few years ago. I’d say he was only 17 minutes or so quicker than me. Unbelievable athelete. A humble guy by all accounts.

He broke the record on the Carlingford 5k a few years back too (low 14s). Was delighted for him as there was a good envelope of cash for anyone who took down the CR.

He voluntarily chose to stay in Monaghan. Apparently the soil there reminded him home
