He’d be disappointed with that you’d feel

Edit

3 1500m semi finals and 2 of them won by Irish girls. Hope they’ve left a bit in the tank for the final tomorrow

And the lads win their 4x100m to auto qualify for the final. A great morning session for Team Ireland

I remember Danny Darcy chasing home another Irish lad in the European Junior Indoors 800m in the early 00’s. I’d say that’s the only ever time it’s been done. Be great to see both girls competing for a medal. Sophie looks as awkward as hell running but is obviously very effective

This is in Finland is it? Did you book the Budapest trip that time?

Yep it’s Finland. Haven’t booked Budapest…yet

2005 1500m - Colin Costello beat Darcy into 2nd. It was also outdoor not indoor

Just saw Ruby Millet qualified for Long Jump final with a PB and the 4x400 qualified with a national record. Loads of finals to look forward to tomorrow. Hopefully a few decent medal chances

This is race planning to the extreme. There’s a 1 month window at the moment where qualification for 2023 Worlds, 2024 Europeans and 2024 Olympics all overlap. Fay had qualified for all 3 now with that run.

Cracking start to the day. Block off 4-5 later for our other finalists

Cian McPhilips run out of it into 6th or 7th. Went out with a ballsy run on the shoulder of the leader and eventual winner but was caught for toe with 150 left and faded. Not a whole lot more he could have done
