Muir has been running a long time. An absolutely lovely lady also. I always want her to do well. Split with her coach of years, with good reason by all accounts.

Sarah Lavin drawn in Lane 4 later. I reckon she’ll need an Irish record at minimum to make the final. She has speedsters either side of her so at least she’s not isolated.
Rhasidat has Lieke Klaver outside of her later who will go out of the traps like a rocket. If she can keep herself on par with Klaver until about 200m left then she has every chance of a medal.
