The Mrs got a text from Chris O Donnells Dad Phil 5 mins before the race… She knew him from college. Luckily we just got to catch it on the player.

Is this usually on so near the Olympics?
Used to be every 4 years (so would fall the opposite even numbered year to the Olympics) but is now every 2 years.
Caught me out so it did, and I’ve missed the greatest sporting Irish moment in history

I couldn’t be happier for Tom Barr. He’s had a helluva journey and while a handsome man isn’t half as much a ride as the women. He’s deserved this.
