A grand bit of running in the Santry puddles it seems.
Sharlene pulled out of the 400m with a tight hamstring leaving it open for Sophie Becker to regain her title. Lauren Caden and Kelly McGrory will be her biggest challenge but she should win easily enough.
Sarah Lavin, Phil Healy and Mark Smyth all won their titles without really being challenged.
Tom Barr will try and chase an Olympic qualifying time in tomorrow’s final.
Biggest draw for tomorrow will be the ladies 100m with Rhasidat lining up. Herself and Sarah Lavin should make the final an interesting watch. Final tomorrow at 12.

They’ve fixed the big races around RTE coverage in the middle of the day before the big GAA games. A bit of common sense to get it some TV coverage on all sides

The AI schedule doesn’t have a women’s 400mH on it which is weird
Rhasidat eases down to 11.55 in the first heat. Ideal sprinting conditions apparently so the NR is likely to get blown apart this afternoon

Barr goes slower in the final than his semi. Led with his right leg which looked much slower than his usual left leg. Squeaky bum time if he gets to Paris now
