Great races. Anything below 5k is usually great. Longer than that you need 2 or 3 stars in same race.
I know a few coaches involved in these or indeed in the past and they just say its always an unique and unbelievable experience

It wasn’t when I was growing up. Suffers a huge drop in numbers from about 14 years old. Most kids who are fast are useful in ball sports and go to those at that age.
Steeplechase final is Tuesday night as well. That’s the best night of the week. Interesting to see if Evan Jager can break the Kenyan 30 year dominance.
Might be a regional/city thing so.
There are certain clubs in Cork that would be more working class alright, but it seems to be something the wealthy kids do as well.
Huge waiting lists in Dublin to join athletics clubs. Lack of mentors or volunteers.
Ya has grown same as gymnastics. Gymbastic coaches make quite good money and they are generally young students or whatever.
Parents are starting to understand kids movement issues now and are reacting.
Alot of people underestimate the technicalities of T&F and bail pretty quickly after getting involved.
Awful pity RTE are not showing it. Always good to hear the Jerry Kiernan take on things. The Women’s
Rugby World Cup understandably the main international focus for the week ahead.

Yeah. Friends of mine who were in athletics sing praises of gymnastics for movement and mobility.
Crokes send lads off to athletics to learn to run.
Kids don’t run anymore. Mad stuff. Lots of them cannot run.
Keeping the kids up to see Bolt although I think he may lose.
THis is the shit you should remember when you are older.
