Ating a dog

According to the newspaper article of mixed messages it is/isn’t.

A great job. We have him trained now to the boundary so he hardly wears it. Just stick it on to remind him from time to time.

Jackie Rs are inclined to wander alright.
It’s cruel to be kind…

My Jack Russell Pug cross is as good as gold in that regard. No instinct to wander at all. Bobby on the other hand is like a lad in a POW camp, always on the lookout for the chance to make the Great Escape.

Dogs Trust are brilliant. We got a voucher from them thru the Community Dog Warden against the neutering costs of our Harvey lad.

Dogs are brilliant. We got our first dog over here last October. We were humming and hawing about it for a few years but one of the lads really wanted to get one. I have to say that it is probably the best thing we did for family harmony in 20 years. The kids all love the dog. My wife, who wouldn’t be a dog person is mad about him. Our routine now includes me taking him out for a walk around 6:30, the missus taking him for a longer one around 8, one of the lads taking him during the day and one of us taking him in the evening. We’d hardly know our neighbours in the area we live in but the amount of people we have met who’ll stop and admire the dog and have a chat you would not believe. People with dogs and without dogs. If you’re a bit pissed off coming home in the evening, he’s inside the door wagging his tail or looking for a belly rub. He doesn’t give a fuck about the twat you were listening to on the teams call for the last hour. Highly recommended. Get a dog, you won’t regret it.

My daugher got a cat around the same time, I’m coming to terms with it…

What kind of dog is it?

This is our fella. Miniature schnauzer. Great dog, great with the kids, easy to train. Only gets really over excited when passing other dogs, he just wants to play etc

My brother got one. Totally different personality to this fella mind. He’d be extremely quiet and keeps to himself around the house, but nearly strangles himself on the lead when out for a walk.

The young fella was wary of dogs especially big ones and agreed to get one that only came “half way up his leg”. So we went for a shortarse.
