Iād my Xmas party last week with work. Ended up in a nightclub called voodoo in cork in the top floor smoking area with a live band. I smoked 20 fags and was vaping away all night like a child. Enjoyable all round drinking with colleagues across several generations and enjoying the company of some very attractive young ones who wouldnāt piss on me if I was on fire which limits the potential for making an ape of oneās self

I left a jacket in there 12 years ago. Not a bad spot in fairness.
Cork doesnt have the same quality of women, good pubs and hurlers obviously too.

I just smoked when I was out when I was 22-25. It is doable alright.
I stupidly went fully back on them at 26 years of age though. I still smoke 7 or 8 fags a day now but I could and will knock that on the head shortly.

Yeah no bother. If I met you sober now and you offered me one Iād smoke it but I wouldnāt ever smoke away from the pub or the golf course.

I couldnāt go through the giving them up part againā¦ the cravings are horrendousā¦ would you not get them again ? I might have smoked one or two when Iām absolutely poleaxed the last few years

Iād smoke 20 a week in the summer between 2 rounds of golfā¦ If I played 7 rounds it would be up to 100ā¦ The golf is a bigger trigger than drinking
During the lockdown when we were drinking while golfing twas off d charts
