that’s just bonkers…

Yeah it’s complete bullshit. Can’t believe it.

The father is innocent here. It was a dingo wot done it.

I do. You are more than entitled to it. It may or may not be a more or less informed opinion than others, but to be honest you probably have as much a I do, I also live pretty close and have been working right beside it the last few days. As I try to avoid Aussies as much as possible I don’t pick up that kind of local gossip.

But it had to be something of that nature. If true he’s got a 40-50 year come down ahead of him.

Honestly, and I may be called all sorts for saying this, if I did that because of my own selfishness Andover indulgence to my 11 month old baby, I’d shoot myself. In the head, quick. I’d be useless to anyone, no qualms at all about it.

Yeah if there was an external factor that wasn’t your fault you could possibly reconcile yourself to it eventually - like if you were on prescribed medication for something that caused some sort of blackout. But if it was down to your own use if drugs or state of mind, hard to know how you’d ever recover.

The centenary of the Royal Australian Navy being shown on sky news now live from Sydney. Plenty of Union Jacks on display as the Aussies pay homage to their British overlords.

Yep. Fitzy and co gave Prince Harry a great reception.

Schools in Melbourne are banning schoolyard games such as tag because children cannot deal with the competitive nature of such games.

We banned competitive games in the GAA up until U14.

No we didn’t.

Aussie parenting is pretty bizarre. Ranging from this kind if over protectionism to insane dickhead fathering to a complete hands off approach to let them do what they want.

This is completely fycked though. I wonder was it a private school?

But we didn’t, you are wrong and telling lies.

Where is Fisty?

It’s cricket season.

In a slight aside, they think Cricket is bollixed here unless they change the game quick and make it more attractive. Soccer is taking a huge chunk of its traditional pool of kids and numbers are falling all the time.

It’s a fucking stupid sport anyway and soccer is much better for kids physically.

They are not winning either which does not help participation. The big bash is commercialising things but at the expense of the finer points of the 5 day game. Eventually Tests will have to be played under lights and be reduced to four days. India call the shots.

Why did you have to respond to the same post twice?

Cricket is dying.

It will soon just be played by Muzzies.

I just heard it on the radio this morning. They said schools, plural, though.
