He rated my first one dumb which is his way of ignoring his stupid post being called.

Hard to know from that.
It’s cricket season.

In a slight aside, they think Cricket is bollixed here unless they change the game quick and make it more attractive. Soccer is taking a huge chunk of its traditional pool of kids and numbers are falling all the time.

It’s a fucking stupid sport anyway and soccer is much better for kids physically.
most parents I speak to here dont want their kids playing rugby as the head injuries are too severe and they dont want them playing cricket as a game takes 6 hours so it takes up one full day on the weekend so is too time consuming

all good news for football and single speed biking

Ya the length of kids cricket is farcical. Cricket is run by a load of stubborn old toffs though, obsessed with tradition. It’s almost like they’d rather let it die the way it is than change and make it better for participation. It’s also a pretty racist organization who seem to want to ignore the rapidly changing population of immigrants who the majority of (bar Indians, Sri Lankan’s and small numbers of English and South Afticans) have no tradition of cricket.

Sporting organizations here even make the GAA look reasonable.

Yes they did

No they haven’t.

What are GAA Go Games?GAA Go Games are small-sided games with modified rules in both Hurling (Go Hurling) and Gaelic Football (Go Gaelic). They form a central element of GAA policy on games for children up to and including the Under-12 age grade.

Congress 2010 saw the passing of a motion relating to this policy. Some of the key points relating to the implementation of this policy are outlined below.

A motion regarding the organisation of children’s games was passed at Congress. Could you explain what this motion is and what it means for the organisation of games?

The motion is as follows:

'Under-12 and Younger Age Groups
Games in Under 12 and Younger Age Groups shall be organized on the “Go Games” model with teams being a maximum of 11-a-side and structured to ensure that all participants get to play in the full game.

At Under-12 level, Competitions may also be organized on a mini-league format on the basis that the teams are a maximum of 11-a-side and that provision is made for all members of the team panel to participate in the game.’

Essentially the motion means games for all age groups up to and including under-11 must be organised exclusively on the Go Games model.

The Go Games Model is defined by the following criteria:

[]There is full participation for all players
[
]Games are organised in a non competitive way i.e. results are not recorded
[]Games are small-sided
[
]Playing rules are modified to suit the developmental stages of the children
[]Playing area is modified
[
]Playing equipment is modified
And what does that prove?

The u13 games in Cork are 15 a side. Pretty sure the 12’s are as well. MBB said up to u14. He was wrong, I just proved I was right.

Now piss off, you choose the wrong argument.

Mate we banned competitive games up after U12 in the GAA, I believe I said U14 previously. After that, the remainder of the post still stands. Sorry if I put you wrong initially.

Don’t worry about it. The first post was dumb and irrelevant. The second probably more so since the mistake had been cleared up by others already.

I think you’ll find the first post was correct for the most part, just 12 months or so out in fact. Would that all things could be as close to being on the money as I was in that instance.

Anyway, all in all, you’re welcome buddy.

Back track and still wrong.

How foolish do I have to make you look?

You’re a fuvking pity.

Nobody came to the travelers land and took it from them. They choose to live their lives the way they want to. The Aboriginals are being told basically “live our way or fuck off and die”

Abbott is a Nazi.

@The Wild Colonial Bhoy , you’re talking through your hole. As per usual.

And all arguing aside, I’d be extremely concerned about Abbott. Like Lenny Murphy having a Catholic sounding name made him hate Catholics even more, the same thing seems to have happened with Abbo-tt…
