The Langford goal just then sums up the whole afternoon, incompetent swans play, hawks fighting for absolutely every possible scrap. 3 mins left 3rd qtr, 107-51, hawks have been wonderful.
Christ that was woeful. Utterly impressive by hawthorn tho, their forward pressure was unreal. Swans didnât have half the intensity hawthorn did. Shame that the pinnacle game does like that, but you cannot but be impressed by that hawthorn effort. They really brought it today.
I would edge to the side of not being allowed play
My beloved Hawks

Tommy Walsh. The great enigma that is. Suffered a horrendous injury last year where the hamstring tore off the bone and had surgery and only came back a while back. They were playing him in the backs for the reserve team, and he seems to be doing well there for them. They want him to stay, but would only be offered a one year contract. With Kerry having a turn around in their side now, I reckon it would be the right time for him to call it quits and go home. He injured himself when he was in the first team late in the season, but it would be hard for him to make it now with so many big tall forwards in their side, so he will only make it in the backs if he does at all.
and another one goes home. not at all surprising. His final career stats:
Signed by St Kilda in the draft in 2009
2010 - 0 games
2011 - 0 games
Signed by Sydney in 2011
2012 - 3 games played, 13 kicks, 11 handpasses, 7 marks, 3 goals, 2 behinds
2013 - 2 games played, 5 kicks, 3 handpasses, 4 marks, 0 goals, 0 behinds
2014 - 0 games

probably the biggest recruit sent over, an all star and young footballer of the year and comes back with a pretty dismal career there. At least he gave it a shot I suppose.
Piss around Australia, having the shits and giggles, playing a mickey mouse of a sport, all while getting paid, before heading back home to pick up a few more All Ireland medals and walk into some college course or job of the county boards creation?
Could be worse I guess.

Heâs no Zack Touhy, thatâs for sure.
Conor Meredith did as much nearly. at least begley had some sort of career there
Are you saying Tuohy hasnât a career?
No, Iâm saying Walsh hasnât.
So you were saying Meredith hadnât?
I am yes. That would be pretty obvious
Of course it would, he wasnât an All Ireland winner and young footballer of the year mind. Heâll be delighted to hear people have him in that category no doubt.
yeah that was my point, Meredith had as much of a career out there as Walsh. fucking hell, that was tedious.
Yea, youâd have been better off not making it given the bollox you made of it.
yeah, I sure made a bollox out of that alright.

Thatâs what happens when you try to transform someone too quickly.
Most of it seems to have been out of his hands.
Given that Kildareâs Daniel Flynn only left a contract with Port Adelaide a month ago to return home, why the fuck would he be attending this?

Tadhg Kennelly is overseeing another AFL training camp in London today and some of the GAAâs best young talents are in his sights.
Kildare quartet Daniel Flynn, Paddy Brophy, Sean Hurley and Luke Flynn are all taking part in the camp this week and will line out for the European Legion side against Australian teenagers in a trial match played in front of AFL scouts on Saturday.
Others who are attending the trial, with a view to making the transition to professional sport, include Tyroneâs Conor McKenna, Ciaran OâHanlon of Armagh, Kerryâs Padraig Lucey, Stephen Coen of Mayo, Tipperaryâs Colin OâRiordan and Peter Cooke (Galway).
âWeâre really looking forward to the week,â Kennelly told The Irish Examiner. "Spending the time together to train alongside the best young players from Australia is a new and exciting opportunity.
"Itâs going to accelerate their skills and show us who can handle the pressure best, not to mention the time the AFL club recruiters will get to watch and speak with them.
âThe players will go back to their countries with a better idea of life as a professional athlete and they can share what theyâve learned with their team-mates. Long term it all helps to grow the game in Europe.â
I see this chancer is coming home again, he really mugged those Aussies off, not content with getting one jaunt to Australia out of them, he mugged them off for two jollies.
yeah he was at their training camp in Dubai, and then came home for Christmas and says he doesnt want to go back again. At least he gave it some sort of a shot anyway. Just isnt suited to some people.
