I’d be surprised if Djokovic doesn’t beat Federer in straight sets. He’s spent very little time on court and should be very fresh.
On the top half of the draw, both quarter finals and then whatever match up it is in the semi final look like they could all be marathons.
I’d be shocked if Djokovic doesn’t win it outright here, Federer is capable but out of sorts. He did beat Djokovic in London though and really should have beaten him at Wimbledon also, so he has had Djokovic’s number in the last two matches. He’ll be the first player Djokovic has faced so far that you would think has the game to beat him.
Federer will need to up it significantly from what he has shown so far.

Djokovic will beat Federer in 3 sets. I cant see how Federer will compete with Djokovic after all the time he has spend on court.
The other half of the draw is more interesting. I would give the edge to Wawrinka over Zverev and that is just because of Wawrinka’s experience getting to this stage other than that it there is nothing to really separate them.
Nadal and Theim is going to be a marathon with Nadal edging that one but only just maybe a tie breaker in the 5th set.
Djokovic was fully fit and in top form when he won in Australia last year. I think he was carrying injuries for a lot of the year after that and was a good bit off top form. If you go through his card for 2019, there’s a lot of surprising and early exits to moderate players. He obviously scrapped home to win the Championship but he was patchy enough for most of that tournament, quite possibly carrying injuries which gave Federer a chance in that final. He looks in top fitness and top form now again which is ominous for everybody left in the tournament.
Wouldn’t agree there, he was beaten by Thiem in France and London. Beat by Tsitsipas in Shanghai, shortly before Tsitsipas won the ATP finals. Beat by the on fire Medvedev at Cincinnati and beat by Wawrinka (although injured at the US Open).
Wawrinka has always caused Djokovic huge problems, on hard courts an in form Wawrinka is probably the toughest opponent for Djokovic.

Zverev wins the 2nd 6-3 having not lost a single point on his serve in the set. 20 points won out of 20.
