PEDerer came from 6-3, 2-6, 0-3 down to record a 6-3, 2-6, 3-6, 7-6, 6-3 win after his medical timeout.

Injury break, miraculous recovery. There’s certainly a theme with Federer here.

Roger caught a big break he was playing such a lowly ranked player in Sandgren who has spent most of his career on the Challenger Tour. Sandgren didn’t have either the physical or the mental fortitude to land the knock out blow to an opponent on the ropes.

That must have been some magic sponge during the injury break.

Do we give Raonic a chance. I expect a few tie breaks but Djokovic in 4.

Raonic simply has to get off to a good start, needs the first set for any chance.

If it was Wimbledon the big serving giraffe would have a chance.

What a warrior Federer is. After all he’s won and to still have that hunger to dig it out is what marks him out as the GOAT.

Djokovic to win this. Think it will be 3 sets wouldn’t be surprised if they are all tie breaks.

Djokovic going for the jugular straight away.

Raonic under severe pressure on his service games, Djokovic cruising through his. A break is imminent, particularly if Raonic continues at a 47% 1st serve.

Anybody keep me updated I’m in a lecture

She’s very pretty.

Raonic finally caves. Djokovic converts his 9th break point of the game and takes the first set.

No way back now you feel. Djokovic looks to be at the top of his game.

Raonic is not playing well. Once his serve is not working then he is goosed. Djokovic in 3 without breaking a sweat. Not that he ever does sweat.

Djokovic really is a machine, he has 2 unforced errors where as Raonic has 26 unforced errors.

Comfortable straight set win for Djokovic to advance to an 8th semi final in Australia. He looks fit and close to top form. On the previous 7 occasions he’s made the semi final, he’s gone on to win the tournament.

Thiem or Wawrinka are the only ones I see being able to trouble Djokovic from here on in.
