the 2 late picks (Geelong v Carlton and Port v Geelong) fucked me up, as well as that missing week. A few more different picks this week and we’ll see how it goes!
It hurts to tune in. McKenna if he ever comes back will be the best bogballer in the game. Sadly he looks like he’s going to make the big time in the AFL. Conor Glass is also on his way to the AFL.
Has Glass done his A Levels yet? Someone needs to tell him the dollar’s not worth a fuck now.
Finished up this year. A lad of his complexion should really consider if it’s wise moving to Australia.
@Rocko, delete this shit thread. It’s annoying me being at the top…
…acknowledging fact this post keeps it at the top.
FAO of @Nembo_Kid
Conor McKenna making his debut on Saturday at the MCG. It’s on live on BT/ESPN at 10am. Essendon are shithouse, and Richmond are aiming for finals, so I’d expect them to be hammered, but good to see him get a run in late in the season after their manager has been sacked/left/mutually resigned.
I hope he fails, for selfish reasons bit it looks like he’s destined for greatness over there.
hard to know mate. So few actually succeed, and most do get a run of some sort. At one stage it looked like Caolan Mooney was the next big thing for Collingwood, made his debut, was lighting it up in the VFL, but he never really kicked on and then quit.
McKenna is special though, apparently was unreal in the trials. Best minor I have seen in the past 15 years or so.
Did you hear the interview with Pearce Hanley on OTB during the week? Fucking hell but that’s some accent
Tommy Walsh was an all star and young player of the year. Pearce Hanley was a good player on an ok Mayo minor team. Hanley is now a team captain and one to the top 3 players at his club, and was in consideration for All Australian last year. It’s impossible to tell how they will go really.
have it on a podcast to listen to, havent got to it yet. Have heard him before alright. AS much as he has an accent, it cant be worse than how Tuohy looks! He really has adopted the bogan culture!
McKenna is on another level to those player. Those awards usually go to players on teams who make at least the last 4.
McKenna has everything in his game, has a bit of filling out to but imagine that will come along. He’s just an amazing player, his pace and size and ability to kick long range scores was staggering for a minor. If he ever comes back then Tyrone will be winning plenty of All Irelands in the next 10 years.
Hmmmmmm…
Tuohy always looked a bit different anyway, he really had the Woolie look as an underage player. The beard and the tats however were quite a departure, talk about going native!
The more things change…
