Australian Rules 2015

Double collar as well.

did you miss a round @Fitzy? I know we all missed the round where GWS beat Hawthorn, but did you miss another one too?

McKenna is box office.

So was Cathal McCarron.

I don’t believe I did no. Which of course makes my horrendous start even worse. Did you miss a round?

no, I missed 2 games that I had right, and I also had some upsets the week Rocko fucked up the site, but I dont know if the other guys had similar upsets.

look up some prediction websites for next year, takes the hassle and cheating out of it.

Hang on, misunderstood you, thought you meant me personally.
No, the first week of the AFL season we didn’t count as a number of posters signed on after it for the tipping comp and we rebooted it to start for round 2. Then Rocko had his brain spasm and fucked up the site, apart from that, all rounds are present and correct.
I may look up some prediction websites, but you’re working on the assumption that I will be running the comp next year, which is a very large assumption. I mean @Brimmer_Bradley may have run me off the board by then.

yeah I did mean you personally! you finished 9 points behind “a massive disappointment”. you better do a good job next year!

Buddy Franklin out for the Fremantle game and probably the finals series (OK, I’m being optimistic about the Swans going far in the finals) with an undisclosed mental health illness. Fair play to him and the Swans for not trying to cover this up and publicly demonstrating that there are more important things than football. Apparently Buddy had an epileptic seizure last week which is either a symptom of or cause of an ongoing anxiety related illness he has. The club certainly seem to be supporting him, something that would not have been imaginable in these circumstances in the AFL even about 5 years ago.

I feel this could be the start of the GAA player depression articles we have here over there now.

Colin O’Riordan may be off for the AFL.

Western Bulldogs V Adelaide - Bulldogs by 11
Richmond V North Melbourne - Richmond by 22

Someone else will need to be admin for this in week 3 of the finals as I will be on holidays and I don’t know if I’ll have access to the INTERNET, or if I’ll bother my hole thinking about this.

Nobody gives a shit Fitz. It’s a shit sport played by. Bogans supported by even bigger Bogans. Used to watch it when I spent time in Oz but avoid it now. It’s truly a shit sport no brains involved like a lot down under.

So you won’t be taking part in TFKAFLFTC2015 then mate?

I’m gonna have to sit it out too mate. You may, or may not, have noticed the NFL season kicking off this morning. Due to limited resources, I can only focus on (and win) one INTERNET sports competition at a time.

Are all the good folk in Five Dock fully stocked up on printer toner before you head off on holidays?

That’s hugely disappointing mate, that you would choose rugby in fancy dress over Aussie Rules.
Apparently we need to change our toner, but that’s not something I’m involved in. My extensive corporate print management client list is however wishing me bon voayges and looking forward to my return, refreshed and rearing to go as we tackle the increasing demands of the back end of the calendar year.

I’ll have you know that we’re moving office in April. I’ll also have you know we’re coming under increasing pressure from our (sister) sustainability company to convert to a ‘paperless’ office. What does the future hold for Fitzy Jr if we’re moving towards a paperless world. Will yee have to move back to Clonmel?

I’m fucked if I know mate, as I don’t actually work in the managed document services space. I work on brand identity and content management. You don’t by any chance work for a large multi national construction concern based in North Sydney with an Irish background do you?.

I wouldn’t say we have an Irish background of any sort (but still, up the 'ra and all that), but everything else checks out.

OK, not the one I’m thinking of then, as I’m their print manager.
