No smoke coming from the aircraft before crash.

Witness reports that plane was flying unusually low. 
I wonder was that before or after it crashed into the ground.

Biggest German disaster involving Barcelona since the 1999 Champions League final. Eerie similarity in that they were cruising along before unexpectedly going down in flames that time too.

[*]Lufthansa vice president for sales and services in Europe Heike Birlenbach tells reporters at Barcelona airport: “For the time being, we say it’s an accident, anything else would be speculation.”
The airline was unable to immediately confirm the nationalities of those on board, Ms Birlenbach said.
“The information we know about passengers are the names. I can’t give any information about nationalities of those on board of the aircraft as we can’t [link] somebody’s name to nationality,” she said.
“Be assured that as this information is available, which should be sometime tonight, we will disclose this information,” she added.

what did I tell ye lads, the pilot on the german wings flight was locked out of the cockpit by the other lad. He had a nervous breakdown
One pilot apparently left the cockpit and couldn’t get back in. Cue 8 mins of him increasingly frantically trying to break the door down.
I wonder was he radicalised at some point and was on a suicide job?
Had to have been a suicide job.
In a way the increased cockpit security post 9/11 probably played a role. The bitter legacy of that day lives on.
