Could I ask nicely, were you business or tourist, what was the legroom like, and were the drinks free?
Economy. Leg room was standard, ie not great. Drinks were free and there were drinks and snacks available in the galley the whole way through the flight for free.
I flew economy class with them back in June drinks were free as much as you wanted food was decent for airplane fare inflight entertainment was good and legroom was grand
Thanks pal. That’s very helpful.
Delta are probably the best of the American airlines. Also decent for domestic flights.
Thanks
Agreed inflight entertainment were on the flights I was on to Orlando from NY and to Atlanta also

Yes I would definitely fly with them again. Price was very keen too.
I think I flew Orlando to NYC La Guardia with them for about a hundred bucks.
I am seeing a consensus that Delta is the choice of discerning TFK transatlantic travellers
I’ll stick to United or American so
Anyone ever flown Air Canada?
I flew economy with United from Dublin to Newark in August and they were excellent. Very new plane with plenty of leg room and great choice of entertainment with loads of movies and HBO box sets available.
I have travelled business class a few times with Aer Lingus this year and found it fairly pedestrian compared to other airlines business class offerings.
Yes, found them poor. Planes were old and outdated on both flights.
Damnit. Cheers

One thing about flying to New York is that I’d sooner fly to Newark than jfk. Getting to and from Manhattan from jfk is soul destroying
Agreed, Newark is a very easy tip into Penn Station.
I flew from La Guardia to Toronto and trying to get through the roadworks and the slowness of the staff in la Guardia was as bad as I have encountered
True took us the over an hour in a cab

I was an hour and a quarter yesterday. Grim stuff.
It’s fecking miles away. You’d be in the city Ryanair advertised as your destination quicker than you’d be in Manhattan from JFK
