@Fagan_ODowd or @Big_Dan_Campbell - have you had to do any layovers in Newark? Any advice for a decent bar to pass away and hour or two watching NFL?
For a busy hub there isn’t a whole lot in it in terms of decent bars as far as airports go. There is a real tacky Irish bar iirc. You might be as well off shelling out $40 for Lounge access.

There is one sports bar type place at the end of an aisle. Essentially just a fridge with bottled beer in it, but they had a fairly sizable tv

I see the wings are cracking on the new Boeing 737 planes. Between the wings falling off and the other ones having a tendency to want to bury themselves nose first in the ground you’d want your head examined to get up on a Boeing these days

Been some pretty interesting articles on the culture shift within Boeing over the last decade or so.

Really? It does appear that the relationship between the airline manufacturers and the FAA is similar to the relationship that existed between the financial regulators and the banks and we know how that crash went

The capitalist ethos says that if somebody is killed in a plane crash, they should take their custom away from that airline for their next plane journey
