You could have benefited from a bit of steam in the oven for the aesthetics on the baguettes.

No, we had steam in the oven, I’m no fool

We made them in different shapes and sizes to experiment, see what worked best

I’ve given that a like but would hope to see a cross section of it to evaluate the crumb please. I’m adept at making a loaf that looks like that but 9 times out of 10 I don’t get the airy centre I was striving for.

Not one of my creations but the MIL did this for me for my Cake Day yesterday. She was disappointed that it sunk but it’s savage none the less. Layered chocolate cake with choc chip crumble on top.
