The young lad Joyce gone centre back for Cork is a fantastic player in the making.

O Connor is severely overrated

Serious player.

I had my doubts about Connolly but in fairness to him, he’s standing up this year. Barrett hasn’t had the best of seasons really, but I do like him aswell.

Connolly Cork looks a real throwback inside forward as well the way he holds off and then rolls defenders near goal. He nearly invites contact.

Agreed. Fine player…

I think he’s quality; can be very isolated at times for Wexford but still makes some amount of ball stick and picks up frees & scores. He’d get on any team in the country.

I have soured on him this year, I think he is obviously extremely talented but I don’t think he is prolific enough and lacks guile when in possession. Maybe being on the frees was a bad thing for him.

He seems to be affected by gravity a bit too much also in pursuit of winning frees.

Gas cunts

100% and you’re responsible for most of it.

Major change in the forecast for Sunday. Gone from sweltering heat to lashing rain.

Donal Madden was the last true marquee forward in Clare hurling

The Gaff

That goal he got v the Blues in the 09 semi shur…

Whatever happened Conor McGrath?

Lost his appetite and desire for it in the last couple of years under Davy. The floggings led to injury and he lost a half yard of pace. Ended up losing his place in 2018 and retired/left the panel

Would he only be around 32?

Not even. Minor in 2009 so 31 at some point this year

Jesus, some player in his day had an unreal burst of pace and eye for a goal.

I remember him saying in a piece about one of his all Ireland goals about how he shot the minute he couldn’t see the keeper. It always stuck with me.

Mad he’s gone so young.
