21st century update. Gas grills have these unique features called knobs, and the ability to turn one or more of the burners off.

Fuck gas barbecues,you may as well bring the cooker outside …i use charcoal but would love to find a good wood…

In the last year I’ve cooked a butterfly leg of lamb, a decent amount of pork fillets and possibly most interestingly an 8hr plus wood-smoked pork butt on a gas bbq.

Mate, you just use a roasting rack in a BBQ and could do any joint of meat. You use indirect for low and slow tough meats.

BBQ to a roaster means incinerated.
