BBQs and barbecuing - I love ribeye more than I love my kids

Out in the rain, with my Billabong t-shirt.
That’s home grown beetroot in a balsamic dressing, and aubergine in a lemon and garlic marinade.

Looks great… Did you start the charcoal before mass this morning?

I can honestly say I’ve never had grilled beetroot.

I threw a few peaches on the grill last night after pulling the meat and veg off.
My God, lovely way to wind up a feed, with a spoonful of ice cream.

Never had done myself. Roasted it in the oven for 20 mins first to soften it up, then back in the glaze and onto the grill. It was very tasty.

Rain?
What kind of dumb shit grills in the rain or temps below 20c?

Aubergine on the BBQ is delish.

Mad to think of rain - sun splitting the stones for the day in Dublin

@Spidey what makes the carnivore rub so special that they can charge €16 for it?

I got a jar of it and I don’t think it’s anything special. Any lad with a daycent spice cupboard would make as good.

Yeah @Fagan_ODowd has a point but it is really good when meat is cooked over naked flame. Gives great char flavour and look to the meat. I’ll post a pic of the ingredients in it

I’ve ordered a burger pack from Bujo (I had voucher since Christmas). They’d want to be sensational for the price. €47 for 12 patties, 8 buns, some secret sauce, 12 slices of cheese, and two pickles.

Is there any place you can get nice fresh burger buns?

All the ones in the supermarkets are shit.

Make them yourself

Pah.
