We got one for a wedding present back in oh five.
Still going strong.
Left outside since the day it arrived.
Changed the lava brick things wance.
Never wash any of it, just flake it on full with the lid down for ten mins, then give it a scrape.

Took the plunge and ordered a Weber Mastertouch GBS C-5750.

Where from and how many beans lighter are you because.of it?

Clonmel Garden Centre.
Not cheap, €329, comes with a chimney starter and lighter blocks.
Plus they had them in stock and said they would have it with me on Wednesday. Have a small gathering at the weekend so I wanted it before then.

Geez,.from a cursory glance this morning at the Weber site, you did well to snag that. I didn’t see anything under a grand when I looked.

I look forward the like-fest photos this coming weekend

This is a charcoal kettle.
They do other kettles cheaper than that as well. The gas ones are much dearer.

I went for the GBS model because there’s a range of accessories you can get, such as woks, pizza stones etc. I’ll also be hanging onto the barrel one I picked up for €80 in Argos 5 years ago and it’s still fine.

I just never get much use from the smoker. Had one years ago and all.lobely intention but rusted more than cooked anything.

Best of luck with it anyway, great for turning large chunks of chape mate into delicious meals for many.

You can cook the food in the oven if it rains.

Sure what are the chances of it raining?

That’s in your wheelhouse.

Did your people not feast on the bison on the Great Plains?

We did - in sync with the environment tho. Then you bastards came along and destroyed everything.

Good man. Keeping your money in the county :+1:
