I brought one of the ceramic bbqs in Lidl last week, sold out in jig time. Tried it over the weekend with basic stuff and did the job perfectly. Bit on the low side but for 90 euro it’ll pay for itself over the next week. Will try some more adventurous stuff next weekend to set myself up for Sunday in the GG.

You forgot to light the charcoal?

Need a new grate for the Weber grill. I’m seeing prices of €150 for same from Weber themselves. Any sites selling knock offs for about a third of that?

How long have you had the existing grate?

Must be massive? I got a replacement 57cm directly from Weber for 35e

Friend bought this , said it’s wank. I think it was Dunnes

€100

@TreatyStones , what’s the process for cooking a full chicken in the Weber? Tell me about temperature, times and air control. I have the yoke to prop him up.

:chicken:

TIA.

How big is the chicken?

Standard.

Just get the temperature probe and no more messing about with guesswork

What in the fuck d’you mean shtandard?

Beer can chicken, foolproof.

4 years but the BBQ blew over in a storm during winter and grate split. It’s usable but a bit irritating

This is the grate on my one. It is available for 125 at this place.

Sorry, I thought it was a Weber kettle

Easy to assume he was talking about a proper BBQ
