Some finish from Thompson there. The Captain of England could have a game on his hands here.
Garry Thompson V Martin Adams.
Yorkshire captain v England captain.
Wolfie 4-1 up at the break and looked set to clinch it 5-1, however uncharacteristically slack darts allowed Thompson to nip in and pull it back to 4-2. But Thompson realstically still has a huge mountain to climb if he’s to emulate another Yorkshire captain, Dennis Priestley in 1991, and keep his title hopes alive.

adams played good darts there to be fair. its a little sad really when you see adams, waites, o’shea, fitton, chasnill and hankey content to be big big fish in such a small pond. :guns::guns:
Decent standard here.
Silverback just after taking the second set with some clinical darts.
Our Chizzers certainly doesn’t make things easy for himself. Crucial set there, I was sure he’d blown it. O’Shea seems to fall apart with alarming regularity, Chizzers needs to get at him and get on top.
He’s an excellent scorer but doubles really let him down.
Trebles for show, doubles for dough.
He just hit his first double 16. Great 140 check out.
Great little vignette there by BBC showing the affection the other players, without exception, have for the Silverback.
Camaraderie

They had to bleep over Ted Hankeys comments about the Silverback, i wouldn’t say they were too complimentary…

He has five grand children.
Bobby remarked that Tony may go for a beer during th break. In what other sport!!
Just to clear up any confusion I may have created over Dave Chisnall’s nickname, I believe it’s “Chizzy” and not “Chizzers” as I stated the other night. That’s how I shall be referring to the St. Helen’s man from now on.
Apologies.
An 11 dart leg for Chizzy. He’s scoring very well and if he can finish off his doubles from here on in you’d fancy him to do it.

The way Chizzy is playing now, I wouldn’t rule out a nine darter before the end of this match.
chissy chissy chissy cant you see sometimes your darts just mystifies me:thumbsup:
how high do you rank chisnall sid
He’s got huge potential. He’s 28 or 29 I think but that’s young in darting terms. He has the scoring power in spades, he has battling qualities and he seems to have the bottle. If he could become a little bit more consistent and iron out the slow starts he’d be over 100 on the average. Give him another couple of years development and he’ll be unbeatable.
The man in the Yellow jersey just two legs away from the race down the darting Champs Elysees tomorrow. If he can stay Arm-strong he’ll be there.
Magic darts.
magic is right. he would do some damage on the pdc boards. whitlock was’nt averaging anything like this when he was in the BDO. a great great talent:thumbsup:
it would even be more magic if he could batter captain cunt in the final:guns:
