The “pub player” takes out 164 and 121 in the last two legs, finishing on the bull both times to win it.
A superstar is born.

Good point Fenway, the larger treble area on the Unicorn would bump up his average by two or three points.
All those hours going up and down to Morecambe to practise have paid off for young Chisnall. Fair dues to him…
Chizzy: “I’m going to get drunk tonight!”
its the wires sid, they are absolutely tiny on the PDC boards. they get less bounce outs and bigger averages as a result. when barney was in his prime in the BDO he was averaging 96/97 over the longer matches. to see chisnall almost averaging 100 just puts into perspective the huge amount of potential this lad has. if as you said he could be a bit more professional on his finishes he’d be near on unbeatable.
Unbelievable darts.
What a way to finish it off and he’s just announced he’s off on the piss.
Dave Chisnall, I salute you - we’re witnessing the emergence of a superstar.
Superb stuff from Chisnall. What he lacks in eloquence he makes up for in scoring power and then some.
The standard in the BBC darts does seem to be a good bit higher than it appeared in the earlier rounds, which begs the genuine question, why are the good lads not playing in the Sky version?
The Sky money is surely much better, and it’s hardly a love of best of order and Tony Green, at least in the younger players.
Is it hard to get into the other one or what?

personally id love to see chisnall, adams, fitton, hankey, o’shea and waites playing in the pdc. then without question you would have all the best players in the world playing in the one championship.
having said that i respect the decision of those named above to stay true to their beliefs. Tradition means a lot more to some people than simply a few bob:thumbsup:
A dream final could be in store.
Youth v Experience.
A contrast of styles.
Chizzy, with all the explosiveness of Buckfast
v
Wolfie, getting better and better with age like a fine wine.

adams is class in fairness but i suspect he lacks the bottle of chisnall. wolfie will go into an early lead but chisnall will win out in the end

Scottie Too Hottie Waites announced last night that he is considering moving to the PDC as he lost his job and needs the money.
A shame to see but you will be welcomed back to the Lakeside any time Scottie.

Surely tradition couldn’t be that big in darts is it? When did the Lakeside World champs start?
You seem to know yer stuff on darts fenway, who would you put as the current top 10 in the world?
Martin Phillips’ fairytale run to the semi-final reminds me of Tom Watson’s heroics in the British Open last summer. That said, I can’t look past the England captain here.
Lets hope Wolfie gets killed today. The cunt, the utter utter cunt. A complete tosspot.

This is a discussion thread about real darts - The BDO. If you want to discuss who you’d like to see poached to that other crowd, find somewhere else to spread your bile.
Why do you hate him so much?

tradition is massive, there is no love lost amongst the BDO diehards for the PDC. THe BDO is grassroots darts and have the structures in place to bring players through. i think of the BDO along the lines of the club seen in GAA. the PDC could be considered the GPA elite intercounty version.
as for top ten i would have
manuel,
with respect go fuck yourself. i do my own thing and will discuss whatever the fuck i want:thumbsup:
