I had a similar thought on Thursday evening. I’d just watched Chissy come back from 4-1 down to defeat Edward Hankey 5-4, and all this after the incredible scenes at the test match in Cape Town earlier in the day. I was thinking, ‘The first Thursday of the year and I’ve probably witnessed the best sporting day we’ll have all year’.
Fair play to Adams but this captain of England thing is a bit overplayed. The captain in darts doesn’t really have all that much influence, he just goes up for the toss.
