I’ll accept that I have been critical of Wolfie in the past but I have always been a champion of the BDO competition and will remain so.
I criticised Chissy’s slow play in the past all right (and his big ears) but never his quality. I’m just glad that he’s made such incredible progress over the past 12 months and I put that down to his trips to Morecambe to practice.
Dunph, if you think you’re going to provoke a split in the ranks of the BDO Darts social group, you’re wrong.

Nothing sarcastic at all in that. Just a nice, concise summary and then a prediction that Martin, Edward and John’s loyalty would remain with the BDO in the face of Barry Hearn’s attempts to buy off the youngsters.

It was a term of endearment, Flano, aimed at Wolfie for losing me an accumulator bet I had placed that day, throwaway term much like you might banter with your mates in the pub. Little did I think that a year later, obsessive stalkers like you would be poring over the minutiae of my every word.
I had placed the bet because I believed Wolfie could take a second title in three years, and his loss disappointed me, although I was delighted for Ted on the day.
Two great champions. One could beat the other on any given day and that’s the beauty of it.
