A 158 finish by the Bullet and he’s all but there now. 2-0 in set 7.
Stream back. Brilliant by The Bullet - a 158 finish.
His missus is an absolute darling, a little princess.
And there it is. Incredible to say it for a player of his calibre, but this is the first time Stephen Bunting has reached the semi-final of the world championship.
Would I be right in saying he didn’t even qualify a couple of years back? Incredible.
A Merseyside derby in store for the semi-final.
Steven Bunting is class.
Anyone have the updated draw? I need to clear my diary for the weekend to watch the conclusion of this.
Kong has beaten Tony Eccles 5-2 and is into the semi-finals.
:
Couple of superb bull finishes from Kong in the 6th set.
It’s an all-Merseyside semi-final between the Bullet and Kong and that’s certainly a mouthwatering prospect.
One could also same the same of the other semi whichever way tomorrow’s matches go.
Wilson/Norris v Dekker/Adams.
In fact the five remaining matches could give you so much water in your mouth that it would fill a small swimming pool*.
*At least submerge the floor of it.

Thanks, Sid.
Do you know what time tomorrow’s session is on at? Hopefully an evening start so I can watch all the action in a BDO affiliated pub like The 51.

6:00 start as far as I know.
The owners should rename it the 501 for the weekend.
Great to see Martin Fitzmaurice at Lakeside.
And judging by this photograph, even though the legendary MC is enjoying a well earned retirement, he’s lost none of his famous charm.

In all seriousness it would appear that the BDO has been much superior to the PDC this year.
Fuck off Sky with your ‘walk towards the camera with your arms folded’ bullshit.
Going to have to miss tonight’s matches which upsets me greatly.
Hopefully a couple of you real darts fans can step into the breach to keep the updates coming.
I’ll hesitatingly go for Wolfie and the Jammy Dodger to prevail but Chuck and Double Dekker could just as easily go through. The beauty of all the remaining action is in its unpredictability - any of the six players left could be world champion come Sunday night.
Enjoy what should be compelling viewing, folks.
I am off soon to watch my first darts since Sunday.
The very best of order please.
And we’re underway in front of the knowledgeable Lakeside crowd.
Excellent opening between Wolfie and Jan and it kills me that I’ll have to leave it after the first set.
100% checkout rate for both players so far.
Jan has so far significantly upped his scoring from the previous rounds. But that was always likely for a player with his ability - as a superb match player he’s able to adapt to the circumstances as they arise, and he’s upped a gear to respond to the massive challenge posed by the legendary England captain of two decades.
Where’s Adams missus ??
