Scotty Dog versus the Jammy Dodger next up.
I missed Scotty’s walk on yesterday, so I’m going to make sure to see now. Always tremendously enjoyable.

Scotty has James on the rocks. 2-2 after being 2-0 down!
140 finish from James to put him one leg away, just as Scotty looked poised to break.
James clinches a hard fought 4-2 victory and moves into the quarter-finals, while Scotty may well be commentating on that game.
I’m really enjoying this years tournament I have to say.
I haven’t seen one second of it on telly but this thread is wonderful entertainment.
Devastating darts and it’s Dutch delight for Double Dekker in the Battle of the Benelux.
Jan Dekker beats Geert de Vos 4-2.
Wolfie completes a star-studded quarter-final line up as he dismisses The Boss on a 4-1 scoreline.
Welcome back, old friend.
Kong has beaten Tony Eccles 5-2 and is into the semi-finals.
Let’s hope that’s not Tony’s last ever match. He’s done well in the BDO since coming over from the pdc - one of the very few players to successfully make the step up.
But in a TFK exclusive, I can confirm that another high profile player is about to defect.
The Matchstick Man and the man who demolished Phil Taylor within a month of making his pdc debut, Co Stompe, is returning to the BDO.
Rick Hofstra can be got at anywhere between 50 and 80/1 to win this tournament.
I expect him to beat Martin Atkins tomorrow and given his average of over 90 in his first round win over Remco van Eijden, those prices represent excellent value, each way at least.
Hofstra leading Stephen Bunting 2-1. It was 2-0, mind.
Crucial break for Bunting in the deciding leg of set 4. 2-2 at the interval.
Watching on this although the commentary is slightly out of sync.

Phill Nixon’s theme tune “We Will Rock You” by Queen blasting out at the mid-session interval.
And here come the players.
The Bullet’s not playing brilliantly but he won a decisive fifth leg in the fifth set to go ahead for the first time at 3-2. He was able to miss a number of attempts at the double before clinching the set with Rick languishing way back. I think he’ll kick on and win 5-2 now but you just never know at The Lakeside.
The players are trading maximums here.
I’d probably agree with that. Rick started well but Bunting is outscoring him. That leg I mentioned previously looks like the turning point.
Still, the Friesian is still battling away well and has just taken a 2-1 lead in set 6. He’ll be looking to milk as much out of this match as he can.
Last chance saloon for Hofstra here you’d think. He must hold to make it 3-3. If Bunting takes a 4-2 lead that’s probably that.
Bloody hell. My stream went in the fifth leg of set 6 with both players requiring 64 and Rick stepping up to throw. What happened, chaps?
Oh dear. With Rick on 64, he hit single 16 with his first dart and needed another to leave double 16, but a wild pull as bad as Declan Ryan’s on Jim Cashman in the 1991 Munster hurling final replay saw him miss the scoring area of the board altogether.
The Bullet then finished his own 64 in two darts to take what looks like a winning lead.

There’s simply no explanation for that other than the intangible factor that is The Lakeside stage itself.
