So many times the first round has been a graveyard for the defending champion, and history has repeated itself yet again.
Chuck says he’ll celebrate with a pot noodle because the food here isn’t up to much.
Earlier Bobby George said last night was the first time he ever had a pint stolen at the Lakeside.
Hopefully the venue will take these things on board. Is nothing sacred any more?
Wolfie up now. His walk on never fails to disappoint.
David Cameron strikes me as a very nice man. He will fit in very well at the Lakeside. I still expect Wolfie to beat him. Great reception for Wolfie as he makes his way to the stage.
“58 and 60 certainly a conservative start by David Cameron.”
Bravo Jim Proudfoot. Bravo.
Adams takes the first leg. Cameron’s hairstyle/fringe is rather ridiculous looking
The pressure of the lakeside stage getting to Cameron
Technical difficulties there, reminiscent of what happened during the Germany-Turkey Euro 2008 semi-final.
Brilliant out shot by Wolfie to take a commanding two set lead against the Quebec Open semi-finalist.
Wolfie has still got it.
This is much more like the Martin Adams we’ve come to know and love over the years.
It looks like David Cameron may be about to lose his deposit.

In fairness to Cameron, it is a big ask to get to the lakeside, let alone win a game and let alone win your first game ever there against a Lakeside veteran and legend like Martin Adams.
Whatever happens David Cameron he can always say he played Martin Adams at the Lakeside and that in itself is priceless
Great cheer for Dave Cameron as he finally wins a leg.
Excellent darts from the Canadian as he breaks Wolfie to go 2-1 up in the third set.
Hold on a second now…
David Cameron is showing signs of life…
Wow.
That Lakeside stage.
What drama as Cameron finally wins the set on his tenth dart for it!
That’s the pressure of Lakeside.
Martin goes through, credit to the plucky Canadian he rallied well after a very slow start
The Lakeside crowd:clap: class personified
Wolfie first past the post on a 3-1 scoreline but Dave Cameron gave a good account of himself.
The Adams - O’Shea tie on Tuesday night is going to be some showdown.
Lovely tribute to Phil Nixon there.
