Best Carveries in Dublin

where did i say that queens was good…i said it was hit and miss, i have had a couple of decent meals out of it and a few poor ones…

also i have never been inside the door of charlie stewarts and i am mearly passing on my brothers opinion of it…

Your as bad as farmer now, losing the head over nothing…next you will be giving out about daniel o donnell:D

The Grove is susposed to be good as well

I think yerself & meself are neighbours btw.
Each to their own, I found the homemade burger excellent when I was in one of the recent bank holiday Sundays.

If you are in the area though, Howard’s Way has to be the shout. For price-quality value, it is absolutely superb. Saturday morning breakfast has never felt better either.
Anyway where’s this Howards Way?

Would love a place for Saturday Brekkie

Was in the Morgue a few times. Nothing special I would have said.

O’Neills is poor. They have about a hundred things on the menu, all mediocre, about a hundred potato and veg as well, all mediocre. And they are fairly stingy with their portions.

MacTuarcails is ok. Nice enough but not in the same class as Sinnotts.

just beside the chipper in rathgar on your left hand side if your coming from Orwell road…lovely feed…the breakfast bap is lovely…the only negative is that your a bit on top of people when your eating there…not nice if your hungover…

hadnt eaten in rodys in years alright Fran, disappointed to hear its not as good. Cove down here has gone crap too, no carvery and crappy menu with expensive small servings. One of those places trying to be something its not. uluru quality isnt great at all, and a case where portion doesnt outweigh the quality. 3 Shippes has a decent carvery tho.

I dont like carveries.

But you like your food by the look of you:p…

Nah Puke its the 30 odd pints/bottles a week thats my problem

The one thing I would have said about O Neills is the the portions are massive once you ask for them, never had a problem getting extras in there. Great selection of decent grub.

Whats the name of the place coming out of Limerick there Puke, just off the Roundabout? Savage place for the carvery.

What does a carvery in Limerick have to do with a thread about carvaries in Dublin?

=

No dice.

Stick to the thread title or go and fook.

let it go flano.

Which place is that…finnegans can be good at times but i don’t think they do carvery…is it Synnotts in annacotty they have a noble carvery…

I won’t. I’m pedantic and petty.

Aye, Finnegans I think, just before the Roundabout for the bypass. Thought they did carvery, but perhaps I’m mistaken, most likely just an a la carte menu, irregardless it is a fantastic place for the grub.

yeah it is a good eating house,a la carte all the way…although at times it can be average…does some trade…

I hear traceys outside portlaois is gone to the dogs…
