Some did - some didnt.
Is the right answer.
Hughie Emerson
Michael Lynskey.
Davy Glennon.
I think O’Rourke didn’t rate him
Kerrill Wade - Galway
Paddy O’Brien - Tipp
Both come to mind
This thread has a very 2000s internet feel about it
Ronan Lynch was the standout player all through underage/schools hurling but now looks as tho he can’t get on the panel
From what I’ve heard he don’t get on too well with John Kiely.
I happened to see Limerick play minor a lot the year of the hawk eye decision and Cian Lynch and La Touche Cosgrave were far better than Ronan Lynch who I never really noticed that much
Are scoil ris/nap tried to build himself into something he wasn’t. The ruined him. He could have been a very good player.
He outperformed cian for Ard scoil. For a brief period in limerick people thought the Harty cup was the be all and end all of hurling. Plenty of fellas got lofty reputations from playing hurling in the mud.
Good shout, he was absolutely unrale underage.
He came on one day below in thurles and no one even knew he had been on the panel, he must have been 25 or 26, completely out of the blue, then he was gone again
He is a fine stickman but lacks the pace for intercounty hurling
I thought Ronan Lynch was way ahead of Cian Lynch at 16/17.
He carried an ASR forward line as a 3rd year in 2012.
Cornac Joyce power was another fella. He was some footballer and a lovely rugby player. Don’t think he ever came home from a J1. He surely would have made it.
Henry Sheflin played minor footballer for Kilkenny and more or less gave the sport up then
Lynch is comfortably in the top 30 hurlers in Limerick and should be on the Limerick panel, simple as.
McGeady
